Achieving the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is a professional milestone for many dedicated economic developers.

To earn this certification, candidates must complete Michigan’s Economic Development Basic Course - or any Basic Course, but we love it when you join us in Michigan - along with other IEDC-required courses - then prepare for The Exam. Known for its rigor, thorough preparation is essential.
